Jean Marie Corneille Meuwissen

Professor Jean Marie Corneille Meuwissen graduated from Delft University of Technology and obtained a Doctoral degree at Eindhoven University of Technology. Since 1986 he has been editor-in-chief of the Wiederhall Architectural Serial. He has given numerous lectures in Europe and the USA and contributed critical writings to various publications on architecture. Jean Marie Corneille Meuwissen is currently Full Professor and Head of the Institute of Urbanism at the Graz University of Technology in Graz, Austria and a Director in Joost Meuwissen Architect in Amsterdam, Netherland.

Christian Kersten Hofbauer

Christian Kersten Hofbauer, has received his Master of Science degree in Architecture and Urban Design at the Graz University of Technology, Graz, Austria. In continuation of his Architectural studies he started his PhD studies at the Graz University of Technology in 2010. He is a leading expert in transforming the care for National Heritage in South East Europe. His areas of interests are urban development and sustainability and the means of financing these complex issues. Furthermore a main focus of his research lies in regional development and energy efficient measures for urban agglomerations, as well as Smart Cities. Christian Kersten Hofbauer is currently Scientific Assistant at the Institute of Urbanism, Graz University of Technology.

Elham Madadi-Kandjani

Elham Madadi-Kandjani, has obtained her Master of Science degree in Urban Design Tehran, Iran, in 2007 and continued with her second Master of Science in Spatial Planning in Blekinge Institute of Technology, Karlskrona, Sweden. She continued her studies with her PhD at the Institute of Urbanism in Graz University of Technology, Graz, Austria, in 2011. She is a leading expert in bioclimatic Housing and as a research assistant and scientific expert her research focus lies in urban areas, public spaces, identity, climate change and sustainable urban development, innovative regions, and cultural heritage in the European and Middle-Eastern context. Furthermore a main focus of her research lies in valuing, assigning and identifying the quality of built environment and Public Spaces.
